Privacy

What this site collects, and what we do with it.

Short version: this website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage and measure completed actions such as contact and volunteer signups. Google Analytics may set cookies or use similar identifiers. We do not send the contents of contact messages, volunteer-interest details, or payment-card information to Google through our website tags.

What we collect

Two forms on this site collect information, and both are optional to use.

  • The volunteer form collects your name, email address, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number, your employer, the areas you would like to help with, and anything you write in the message box.
  • The contact form collects your name, email address, the topic you select, and your message.

We ask for an employer only so we can check whether that company runs an employee matching-gift or volunteer-grant program. You do not have to answer it.

Like every website, our host records standard technical information when a page is requested, such as an IP address, browser type, and the page requested. We do not use that information to identify anyone.

Who processes it

  • Netlify hosts this website and receives and stores form submissions on our behalf.
  • Google Workspace provides and hosts email for our anchoredschoolpto.org addresses, including info@anchoredschoolpto.org. Messages you send us are stored in Google's systems under our account.
  • Porkbun is our domain registrar and operates the DNS records for anchoredschoolpto.org. Porkbun no longer handles our email.
  • Zeffy processes online donations. Donation forms are hosted on Zeffy's own site, not here. We never see or store your card details. Zeffy's privacy policy governs what happens on their pages; we receive the information we need to thank you and issue a receipt, such as your name, email, mailing address, and the amount and designation of your gift.

What we do with it

We use what you give us to reply to you, to match you with volunteer work, to send acknowledgments and receipts for gifts, and to keep the records a charity is required to keep. Volunteer hours are recorded so we can report them in grant applications and to employer volunteer-grant programs.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not share it except with the service providers listed above, or where the law requires it.

We report totals, not people. When we tell a funder or a sponsor what happened, we use aggregate figures and, where a specific story helps, only material we have documented permission to use.

Children

This site is written for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from children. No learner's name, image, or work appears on this site, in our materials, or in a report to a funder without documented parental consent.

Cookies, analytics, and measurement

Google Analytics 4 is active on this site for website measurement. It may use cookies or similar identifiers and receive information such as pages viewed, device and browser information, approximate location derived from an IP address, and whether a tracked action was completed. We use the resulting reports to understand site performance. Google Ads conversion measurement is not currently active; if enabling it changes what this site collects or transmits, we will update this page before enabling it.

We do not use these measurement tools to sell personal information, and we do not send the contents of contact messages, volunteer-interest details, or payment-card information to Google through our website tags. Google processes information collected through its services under its own terms and privacy policies. Our host may also serve its own small script as part of hosting the site.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@anchoredschoolpto.org and we will act on it. If you would rather not use a form at all, email or write to us instead — the address is on our contact page.

Changes to this page

If we change how this site collects or uses information, we will change this page. It was last updated in September 2026.
